All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch, so please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given. Please note that UK Floor Sales is an internet trading name of Mel Flooring and this will apear on your credit card statements.

The total value of your order will be displayed on the order confirmation screen. The displayed price is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.

All prices quoted on the website exclude VAT at the appropriate rate, currently 17.5%. If you are eligible to reclaim this sales tax, on request we can supply you with a VAT receipt.

Please make sure someone is available to take delivery of the order as the delivery drivers are insured only to unload to kerb-side.

Terms And Conditions

1. Our flooring products are either delivered from our warehouse or delivered direct from the manufacturer, delivery times may vary between different manufacturers. Delivery times are subject to availability of goods, a delivery date will be confirmed by e-mail, if the delivery date given is unacceptable you may contact us to re-arrange delivery. In most cases it is realistic to expect delivery within 7 working days unless you have specified otherwise.

2. If any items are out of stock or available outwit our normal expected delivery times we will advise you immediately, if this proves to be unacceptable you may cancel your order and we will issue a full refund.

3. We accept orders only for delivery to UK addresses only.

4. We supply to trade customers therefore advertised prices exclude VAT unless clearly indicated. VAT will be charged at the current rate of 17.5%. You will be informed of the full order value inclusive of VAT at the time of ordering.

5. An order is not deemed to be accepted as a contract until we have sent an invoice-stating acceptance via post.

6. We will not charge your credit card until you are fully aware of the full details and total value of your order. Your order will benefit from the full consumer rights offered by your credit card provider.

7. Goods are not sold on a trial basis.

8. All goods remain the property of ukfloorsales until paid for in full.

9. A restocking fee of 30% of the purchase price will be charged on all goods returned to us, which prove to be non-defective.

11. You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of the goods being received without giving a reason. Goods returned must be in a saleable as new condition. Shrink-wrapped goods must be returned unopened. You must arrange transportation and pay all costs involved in transporting the goods back to us. Returns made under this provision must be agreed in writing or by electronic mail by both parties before the goods are sent back.

12. No liability is accepted whatsoever for late completion of the order or for delay arising directly or indirectly from any cause beyond our control (including labour disputes, strikes, lockouts, fire or carrier congestion) and such delay shall not entitle the purchaser to rescind.
